Justin Cobb Analyses the Training of Olympic Athletes

The olympics 2016 have kicked off with a tremendous start, team USA are setting record standards and inspiring millions of supporters around the world. Justin Cobb has been following team USA in the games and reflects on the similarities between his training as an entrepreneur and training as an olympic athlete, both possible with sheer commitment and a winners attitude. Direct Marketing guru and self made entrepreneur Justin Cobb, trains entrepreneurs with the same competitive and consistent determination as an olympic athlete, he strategizes and creates successful game plans, he pours passion into team pep talks, he builds and develops his entrepreneurs and makes them push through their boundaries.

“An olympic athlete wouldn’t be anywhere without an unbreakable support network, they couldn’t do it without their trainers, their mentors, medical teams, dietitians, sponsors, families and their fans. They need to work as a team to get results, which is exactly like an entrepreneur who needs their contacts, their team of dedicated workers, their mentor,  their accountant, family support, so that they can push themselves and build the foundations of their enterprise” explains Justin.

There are mottos which Justin trains his entrepreneurs to live by, “Much like an olympic volleyball team, as entrepreneurs, we aim high and we don’t aim small. We set ourselves up for success, we don’t play it safe, we take risks because high risk means high reward, the more shots we take, the more chances we have at making a success” Justin explains.
Very similar to an olympic athlete, who must train vigorously to build and develop their performance, an entrepreneur must practice and learn more about their field, build habits to enhance his performance and positive attitude and they must always outwork everybody else and consistently hit his targets. “Try harder and try smarter”, wise advice from Justin Cobb.
