Business / February 26, 2018

We all experience stress, and for many of us, it can be one of the most emotionally painful things. Sometimes when stress overbuilds, it can cause anxiety, depression and physical fatigue. “Being stressed out is one of those things that causes immense problems not just physically but emotionally — it’s something that does not go away on its own; but there are ways to take care of it while taking care of yourself,” says Justin Cobb. In order to manage stress, you have first to understand what it is. A lot of people notice changes in themselves and everyday life. “Some may notice changes in appetite, unable to sleep and feeling overwhelmed by situations. Physical effects also play a huge role with can cause serious health problems,” says Justin Cobb. Here are a few suggestions to help manage stress because Justin Cobb knows the effects of this can be quite negative.

Exercise Regularly

When you exercise regularly, you are able to relieve that tension you feel through stress. “From personal experience, managing stress by working out is the best way to combat that negativity. Stress can be a good and bad thing. It’s bad when it overwhelms you,” mentions Justin. Even working out once a week can reduce stress in numerous ways.

Take Some Time For Yourself

When you’re in a crazy and fast-paced environment, sometimes the best thing to do is step back and take some quiet time. When you take some time out for yourself, you will be able to manage your stresses and enjoy some simple things such as sitting alone, breathing or even drinking some tea away from distractions. “This also helps you achieve focus and concentrate on your goals,” says Justin Cobb.

Stress is Not Always Bad

There’s a difference between good and bad stress. Sometimes good stress is when it motivates you to accomplish something efficiently and to an excellent standard. When you have a goal and tight deadlines, efficiently managing your stress will keep you on top of things.
