Justin Cobb flew across to the five-star location in the Bahamas to spend a long weekend mixing both business and pleasure, as he networked and caught up with his business partners and mentee’s. The overseas trip provided ample opportunities for great networking and interaction, amongst both new and existing faces.
“Strategy planning in the office doesn’t quite compare to doing it in the Bahamas, surrounded by white sand and turquoise waters, so you can imagine the high spirits from everybody who attended this weekend. After ten years of running these business trips, I strongly believe that these events bring individuals closer in a more informal and personable setting” Justin comments. The first evening of the trip is the most important, as the majority of Justin’s business partners will not have been in the same location as one another for a long time. So, naturally, upon arrival everybody headed for the conference room and caught up on business, and listened to Justin speak about the organizations plans for the next business quarter. “Working hard on the first night of the trip means the rest of the weekend can be enjoyed at their individual pace” explains Justin Cobb.
The long weekend retreat gave attendees the opportunity to take a well-earned mini-vacation from the buzz of the outsourced sales and marketing environment, to spend some quality time refocusing and unwinding under the Caribbean sun. Throughout the weekend Justin Cobb and the other guests were invited to get involved in snorkeling with dolphins and fine dining in which cocktails and appetizers were in abundance. Justin Cobb said, “Those who attended this year’s R&R trip in the Bahamas will absolutely benefit, and will use the motivation and information to continue to drive the growth and success of their businesses.”
